In this position, you will get to:
Lead and facilitate daily operations of the Material Flow area
Directly supervise employees including training, work direction, performance management and payroll
Provide adequate resources, on-going work direction, and problem solving to ensure business goals are met
Drive a continuous improvement culture by involving employees in problem solving and decision making as well as recognizing them for exceptional work
Be highly visible to associates and promote hands-on, high involvement approaches to problem solving
Maintain RF material tracking system/equipment and drive velocity and accuracy improvements
Lead transformational projects that improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity
You have:
Academic background of:
Minimum 2 year degree, 4 year degree preferred
Previous experience in or with:
3 - 5 years Manufacturing
Materials or Supply Chain
1 - 3 years Leadership
Skilled in:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to present and influence views in a clear and compelling manner
Efficiently operate computer programs including Microsoft Office and Epicor
Clearly demonstrate understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts
Employee Management including conflict resolution, coaching, training, recognition and engagement
Change Management with the knowledge of process improvement concepts and methods, along with the flexibility and adaptability to accept, support, and deploy new processes in a changing business environment
Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands to:
Function in a rapidly changing, fast paced environment, with a positive attitude
Rotate between an office and plant floor seamlessly
Lift/push/climb/stand/sit/kneel as needed
