Delivery AssistantLocation: Reston, VA · Full timeAs a Delivery Assistant, you will be joining our last-mile delivery team that is responsible for friendly and on-time service for our customers. Under the supervision of Hub Assistants, your job will be to ensure a positive hand-off of delicious meals to our customers during the delivery window.As an early team member, you will get a unique opportunity to be in the driving seat as an integral part of a high-growth startup and define its success story.Your Responsibilities:Comply with all company safety policies to include proper wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Conduct vehicle inspections (as required by company policy) and follow all state and local laws while operating a motor vehicleAccept and load food deliveries in company provided or personal vehicles (ability to lift at least 50lbs)Experience in working with technology - specifically comfortable with apps on mobile devicesDeliver world-class customer service at points of deliveryRequirements1 year of last-mile experience, preferably in last-mile logistics or in E-commerceExperience with last-mile food, grocery delivery will make you stand out among applicantsPass a background and MVR check as well as a pre-employment drug screeningYou are comfortable with ambiguity and highly entrepreneurial - there will be room to growYou have a bias towards execution, a desire to execute, learn and iterate
