REPORTS TO: Athletic Director / Building Administration
SALARY: As determined by negotiated salary schedule and current memorandums of understanding with the collective bargaining unit.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Coach football athletes around fundamental skills, drills and practices of football. Maintain inventory of equipment, uniforms, paperwork. Serve as a positive role model on and off the fields and ensure safety of all athletes. Supervise team on the field, in the locker room, and on bus trips. Maintain equipment, accurate records, supplies and inventory.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Successful Middle School coaching experience
Adheres to sports philosophy of Phoenix-Talent Schools
Model high standard of behavior
Meet/ability to meet coaching certification requirements: FA/CPR, Concussion Training, Anabolic Steroid, blood-borne pathogen, etc.
Experience coaching football preferred
Must have a flexible work schedule to accommodate practices and matches
PREFERENCE:
May be given to those candidates who hold a valid Oregon teaching license
May be given to those who are bilingual in Spanish and English
