Position Overview

Stafford County, Virginia, located along the Interstate 95 corridor between Washington, DC, and Richmond, with a population of over 164,000, is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Director of Information Technology. The IT Department's mission is to provide leadership, products, and services for Stafford County government and its citizens, ensuring the security and integrity of government resources and data.

Responsibilities

• Direct the operation of the IT programs and staff, under the management of the Chief Information Services Officer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in a CIO or Director of IT role within a complex organization.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $122,200 to $185,000, negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
