Custodian II - Eagle Point High School

Eagle Point School District 9 is seeking a dedicated Custodian II to join our facilities team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, attractive, and
safe learning environment for students and staff. The Custodian II position differs from Custodian I due to the larger facility size,
higher student population, and increased number of school activities requiring custodial support.

About the Role
As a Custodian II, you will be responsible for performing routine custodial duties, including daily cleaning, minor maintenance, and safety compliance in a high school setting.
This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to meet the needs of the school.
Key responsibilities include nightly cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas; floor maintenance through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing;
trash disposal; and ensuring the security of the building at the end of shifts. Additional tasks include assisting with furniture setup for events, performing minor repairs,
and complying with safety regulations regarding cleaning supplies and waste disposal.

Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate has experience in custodial services, understands proper cleaning and sanitation procedures, and is proficient in operating cleaning equipment.
Strong organizational skills, a solid work ethic, and the ability to work in a physically demanding role are essential.
A valid Oregon Driver's License and personal transportation are required, along with the ability to pass a background check.

Position Details:
Title: Custodian II
Placement (location): Eagle Point High School
Supervisor: Principal or designee
Contract Days: 261 days, 8 hours per day, to begin June 2, 2025
Salary Range: $18.18 - $25.86 per hour depending upon previous, full time experience in a similar position
Effective July 1st salary range - $18.54 - $26.35 per hour depending upon previous, full time experience in a similar position
Closing Date: Screening to begin immediately, open until filled
