Lead, implement, and oversee the execution of site strategies, processes, and systems to increase productivity, safety, and associate engagement. Responsibilities

  1. Lead a high-complexity site strategically to align business, people, and safety practices to achieve key metrics.
  2. Apply knowledge of current technologies, regulations, and vendor/supplier dynamics impacting the business.
  3. Develop, manage, and coordinate all facets of transportation, including Final Mile costs.
  4. Use measurement tools and data analytics to deliver the overall business plan.
  5. Collaborate with retail partners to improve service levels.
  6. Work with Kroger Technology to enhance customer experience.
  7. Partner with marketing to maximize sales and market potential.
  8. Represent the site in dealings with government agencies, NGOs, suppliers, and vendors.
  9. Prepare annual operating budgets.
  10. Maintain site SQR levels as per corporate standards.
  11. Follow policies and practices to ensure safe, quality products meeting regulatory and company standards.
  12. Support the development and ongoing improvement of company systems and processes.
  13. Manage workforce needs strategically to meet business objectives.
  14. Develop top talent and oversee succession planning.
  15. Supervise and coach direct reports; conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
  16. Travel independently to other site locations.
  17. Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience.
  2. 7+ years of senior operational leadership in logistics or manufacturing with P&L experience.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Proven ability to lead, train, motivate, and develop teams.
  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  7. Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and peers.
  8. Strong follow-up, accountability, and critical thinking skills.

Desired Experience

  1. 4+ years managing in eCommerce or retail operations.
  2. 4+ years as a general manager in Kroger Supply Chain or similar food industry company.
