Maintenance I or II - Eagle Point School District

Eagle Point School District 9 is seeking a dedicated and skilled maintenance team member to help ensure our facilities and grounds remain safe, attractive, and well-maintained for our students, staff, and community.
This position plays a key role in supporting the learning environment by performing essential maintenance, repair, and operational duties throughout the district.
The position selected will be dependent upon qualifications of the candidate.

About the Role
The Maintenance I or II position requires a high school diploma and valid ODL.
The main role and function of this position is courier services, including mail, food and custodial supply deliveries as well as inventory among others.
This person should have a documented skill set of maintenance and repairs of all aspects of a commercial building and grounds.
These skills should include up to but not limited to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boilers, carpentry, painting, mowing, trimming, sprinkler systems, etc.
This person may also be asked to write reports, calculate job costs and locate parts as needed.
Various training and licensing will be expected such as CDL, backflo, pesticide applications on school grounds and small water systems operations.

Strong organizational skills, a solid work ethic, and the ability to work in a physically demanding role are essential.
Various training and licensing will be expected such as CDL, backflo, pesticide applications on school grounds and small water systems operations, along with the ability to pass a background check.

Position Details:
Title: Maintenance I or II (The position selected will be dependent upon qualifications of the candidate)
Placement (location): Maintenance, Eagle Point, OR
Supervisor: Maintenance Supervisor
Contract Days: 261 days, 8 hours per day, to begin July 1, 2025
Salary Range:
Maintenance I: $20.18 - $28.70 per hour depending upon previous, full time experience in a similar position
Maintenace II: $23.51 - $33.45 per hour depending upon previous, full time experience in a similar position
Closing Date: Screening to begin immediately, open until filled
