Career Opportunities with Plexis Healthcare SystemsPlexis Healthcare Systems, Inc., a progressive software development company in Ashland, OR, is looking to hire an enthusiastic and experienced Systems Analyst for our Client Support/IT Department . This position is remote, but candidate must be local to the Southern Oregon area. Please apply at www.plexishealth.comPosition PurposeThis position is responsible for providing assistance with the configuration, setup, and maintenance of Plexis software products. Specializing in the investigation of system, network, or database issues, which may be responsible for conditions that limit a client's efficient use of Plexis software. In addition, this position will serve as the lead technician for supporting the PLEXIS cloud hosted server environment. Reported issues are submitted via telephone, e-mail, or the Plexis website. The position will take directions from the Director of Client Support as well as constructively contribute to the support team.Essential Functions and Basic DutiesAssist clients with the installation, system maintenance, and operations of PLEXIS software.Install and maintain PLEXIS software in the PLEXISCloud.Utilize effective and efficient troubleshooting techniques, processes, and patterns to solve complex analytical problems.Assist clients in the implementation and configuration of Plexis Software.Troubleshoot and resolve client system issues relating to Plexis Products and add-on tools.Escalate software bugs or enhancements to PLEXIS Development with thorough issue descriptions.Possess strong people skills.Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.Successfully prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.Ability to work well autonomously and cooperatively.Coordinate with PLEXIS Development to provide code fixes when appropriate.Provide timely follow-up and status updates to clients, as issues are processed and resolved.QualificationsFour years of experience in Windows Systems Administration, server implementation, or troubleshooting.Strong knowledge of T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server.Experience or Knowledge of HIPAA or PCI compliance preferred.Deadline driven accountability and time management skills.Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the drive to ensure customer satisfaction with each interaction.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Spanish fluency preferred but not required.Physical Activities and Requirements of this PositionAbility to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer to produce typed copy.Capacity to communicate adequately, in person or via telephone, in a professional business manner.Capability of dialing or otherwise using a telephone to place and receive telephone calls.Willingness and capability to come and go from the work area repeatedly throughout the day as is necessary.Willingness and capacity to sit or stand for minimum periods of one hour at a time.Capacity to pick up, leaf through and read books and files and other materials.Willingness and ability to maintain regular attendance for normally scheduled hours, to work overtime and to be flexible to work other shifts as necessary (i.e., potential weekend schedule).Working Conditions (when in office setting):Ability to tolerate, use, work with, in, or under:Florescent lightingRecycled airVDTsSemi-enclosed areasCentral heating and air conditioningThe key physical requirements for this position include the ability to move freely through an office environment.
