Mercy Flights is hiring a full-time Staff Accountant! We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to support a broad range of accounting activities including general ledger review, accounts payable, payroll backup, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and fixed asset management. Key Responsibilities: Review general ledger accounts and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual adjusting journal entries and accruals in compliance with GAAP Reconcile balance sheet accounts and support internal control activities Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial procedures Assist with accounts payable including invoice coding, entry, and vendor communications Provide backup support for payroll processing Partner with the CFO on safeguarding assets and internal control improvements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (or equivalent experience) Minimum 3 years of direct accounting experience Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required Experience with NetSuite is a plus Knowledge of GAAP and strong analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team High attention to detail and excellent communication skills How to apply: Apply online at Career Services.
