Responsibilities:
As a Site Safety & Health Officer, you'll lead the implementation of safety, health, and environmental requirements from our Safety Management Program. Your role includes guiding the Project Management Team for precise compliance with contract specifications.
- Conducting daily inspection rounds, you'll mentor personnel to foster safe work practices. In project progress meetings, address and plan for workplace safety, contributing to their Incident & Injury Free Safety initiative
- Work closely with Site Supervisors to coordinate Weekly Toolbox Safety Meetings, ensuring a secure work environment
- Prepare a concise weekly safety report summarizing key activities and incidents
- Lead pre-shift meetings, guiding crews for job safety analyses
- Collaborate with the Division Safety, Health & Environmental Manager to address compliance issues
Location: Anywhere near a major airport
Base salary, $80 - $100K
- Bonus: 5%
- 410k w/ 6% match

- Rotation schedule is 17 days on/11 days off
This is a 100% travel position with rotation based on GLDD project sites, therefore can live anywhere in the US (preferably along the Gulf or East coast).
