Position overview:
They are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to lead strategic growth efforts, expand market reach, and drive the adoption of this company's innovative technology in the industrial sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and business development, along with a strong knowledge of industrial markets and a passion for introducing disruptive solutions.
A candidate does not have a sales background, but does have a strong electrical skillset and a desire to work in sales where they will be at the forefront of a new technology needed to reduce operations downtime.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Business Development strategy aligned with our client's revenue and market share goals
- Build and manage a national industrial representative network
- Identify and penetrate key market segments by securing specification presence with leading EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) firms in the following verticals: Power generation (with emphasis on natural gas-fired combined cycle facilities), Midstream gas processing, Chemical and petrochemical, Pharmaceutical and biotechnology
- Prepare and present ROI analyses tailored to each market, showcasing potential annual savings using client's technology
- Produce compelling case studies and customer testimonials for use across marketing channels
- Establish and grow presence across digital platforms, including video demonstrations, user interviews, and social media
- Coordinate participation in industry conferences, trade shows, and user group meetings
- Lead and conduct technical and commercial presentations at plant sites and engineering offices nationwide
Base salary, $90K - $150K with bonus potential based on performance, full benefits package, home office set-up, auto allowance
