About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Human Resources Officer to provide strategic and collaborative leadership in the management of HR functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, recommending, and implementing personnel policies and practices that support the organization's goals and ensure efficient operations. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment to professional development, and maintaining compliance with labor laws and regulations. The Chief Human Resources Officer will also be a key player in fostering a positive work culture, managing labor relations, and supporting the superintendent and department leaders with personnel issues.

Applicants for the Chief Human Resources Officer position at the company should have a strong background in HR management, including experience with collective bargaining and contract negotiations. The role requires a candidate with a Master's degree (preferred) and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, along with a valid Oregon Administrator License (preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of successful administrative experience in HR. The ideal candidate will possess strong decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. A background in leadership, and project management, and a proven track record of maintaining a positive organizational culture are essential.
