Establishes and maintains all count records and reports required by count room procedures.PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:* Promote a clean, safe, healthy and friendly work environment for employees and guests; report and direct safety issues to Safety Committee.* Supervises countroom operations in accordance with internal procedures and controls in the absence of the Soft Count Shift Supervisor* Provides excellent team member relations* Provides professional supervision and direction to count team members; resolves problems; makes sound decisions; exercises discretion and refers appropriate problems and decisions to Cage Manager and Soft Count Shift Supervisor.* Maintains all assigned records and reports in an accurate and timely manner* Responsible for reviewing all paperwork at the end of the shift.* Assures that all count team members comply with all applicable internal controls and reporting requirements* Maintains appropriate security measures to protect company assets and confidential company information* Complies with all applicable company policies and procedures* Other duties as assigned.POSITION REQUIREMENTS (objective educational or technical training required; skills; and years of experience):* High School diploma or GED preferred.* Minimum 1 year cage, banking, or other acceptable cash handling experience, with at least one year at supervisory level preferred.* Demonstrated ability in cash and paperwork handling* General working knowledge of cage and casino operations* Demonstrated ability to conduct countroom operation in accordance with prescribed standards* Professional appearance and attitude* Must pass and remain in compliance with Coquille Gaming Commission background check and drug free work place policiesPHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT (the physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
