Description:

Job Title: Superintendent – Commercial Construction

Compensation: $120,000 to $150,000 annually, based on experience. Full benefits, vehicle allowance, and PTO included.


Overview:

We are seeking a sharp and tech-savvy Superintendent with proven experience managing commercial ground-up and tenant improvement projects. This role requires strong scheduling capabilities using Microsoft Project and the ability to oversee field operations from preconstruction through closeout.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on-site construction activities and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to spec
  • Build and maintain detailed construction schedules using Microsoft Project
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and site staff
  • Conduct regular site meetings and maintain clear communication with project teams, clients, and city officials
  • Ensure jobsite safety and adherence to OSHA and company protocols
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager on budgeting, forecasting, and schedule adjustments
  • Maintain daily logs, RFIs, submittals, and change orders in coordination with office staff
  • Represent the company with professionalism and leadership on all job sites

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial projects
  • Strong command of Microsoft Project and other construction management software
  • Proven ability to build and manage schedules independently
  • Strong understanding of commercial building codes and means/methods
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • Ability to travel within the Southern Oregon region
