The Regional Account Manager will plan and execute the day and week by following the overarching goals of the GXC Sales Department. This position requires continuous acquisition of knowledge to become an expert in the distinctive attributes, set-up and end-use working of various countermeasure and metal detection products. Such knowledge will be acquired over the first few weeks of employment with formal classes and training conducted at CEIA USA in Hudson, OH, (dependent on CEIA class schedule) as well as independent learning and on-the-job training through the shadowing of fellow GXC employees.

Position Description :

The Regional Account Manager will be expected to self-generate leads, export such leads into CRM database, and perform outbound (sequential) email campaigns following a defined process. The Regional Account Manager will adhere to the market vertical(s) assigned by their supervisor and demonstrate sales management skills to efficiently perform simultaneous email / sales campaigns. Through establishing a bona fide connection with a prospect, performing product demonstrations both in person and virtually, building rapport, remaining in regular contact with fresh content, providing written estimates, selling the purchase order, overseeing all aspects of the closed sale (including installation, end-user training, and all service and communication which routinely come after the sale), the professional Sales Representative is the epitome of GXCs motto, People, Protection, Process.

Essential Functions :

  • Works as a team member
  • Participation in scheduled and impromptu team meetings
  • Conducting company and contact online research
  • Sells appointments that allow for a detailed discussion and demonstration of countermeasure products - based on the perceived needs of the customer.
  • Prospecting of trends and immediate opportunities

Demonstrates proficiency in software that includes, but is not limited to :

  • Adobe, MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook

Operationally proficient with sales management software that will include, but is not limited to :

  • Salesforce, Zoom Info, Webex, NetSuite, Zoom Video Communications, Monday.com, Fyle.com, and Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Prospects, manages, and moves leads deeper into the sales funnel through a prescribed management process
  • Attends trade shows and conferences
  • Travel Required
  • Conducts and manages outbound sales campaigns, custom tailoring campaigns (content) to the targeted industry
  • Email and phone call follow ups
  • Detailed management of leads all the way to closed-won or closed-lost stage
  • Regular reporting of general sales management activity
  • Ability to manage expenses and conduct monthly expense reporting
  • Strong executive-level oral presentation skills utilizing PowerPoint

  • Fine motor dexterity, ability to work from an electronic device at all times
  • Ability to travel regularly
  • Ability to learn new tasks and remember processes
  • Maintain focus and independence in a remote working environment
  • Make decisions and apply established workflows in a timely manner

Qualifications

  • 4-Year Degree ideally in any of the following fields : Business Management, Sales, Marketing, Communications, Education, any technical field OR
  • Four years professional work history in a fast-paced technical sales environment
  • Knowledge of or professional experience working in Law Enforcement or Security Industry
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in attention to detail
  • Ability to self-book travel
  • Ability to travel throughout the United States when required
  • Possess a valid drivers license
  • Must complete background and physical examination

Bonus Experience

  • Experience working in the K-12 administrative environment

through direct

experience

in school administration or through direct account management / sales experience within the

K-12 setting.
