The Farmstead at Medford (an Independent Living Senior Community) is accepting applications for part-time Maintenance Associates to join our team! We offer a first-class experience for and their guests. Our Maintenance Team delivers outstanding service to our , focusing on first impressions, community safety and maintenance upkeep of the entire community.

Schedule is flexible - weekdays and weekends available
Shifts Available: Morning - Afternoon - Evening
Associates are offered a delicious meal during their shift
Hourly Pay starting from $20 / Hour

Responsibilities and duties:

• You will share in making our community a beautiful place for to live.
• You will provide cleaning services for public common areas.
• You will respond to maintenance requests from including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and various maintenance tasks.
• You will monitor and respond to emergencies such as building life safety systems and the fire alarm panel.
• Overnight Shift - you will monitor the concierge desk and field any requests, inquiries or maintenance needs during the overnight shift.
• You will tour the building as needed to ensure that all entry doors are closed and locked after hours.
• You will have the opportunity to serve a senior population and provide quality service for each we serve.

Qualifications:
You have the ability to develop positive relationships with , peers and the community.
A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
Working in a team environment, supporting and caring for our fellow colleagues.
You have a minimum of 1 year facility maintenance experience in a hotel, apartment, or senior living facility.
You have experience performing routine maintenance and building repairs with a working knowledge of custodial cleaning procedures including floor-care.
You have basic computer skills including Email, Microsoft Word, etc.
HVAC experience (while not mandatory, this is a plus.)
You have the ability to communicate effectively with , managers, and vendors.
You have the ability reach, bend, lift and carry up to 50lbs.
