We are looking for a candidate with a hybrid skill set of analytical and sales tactics to join our team as an property casualty insurance agent. Our ideal candidate is both smart and humbly confident; someone who is not easily intimidated when problem-solving to identify and sell the best policies for our clients. This full-time position comes with plentiful growth opportunities and generous sales bonuses in a successful independent agency. Insurance Agent Responsibilities:
  • Focus almost exclusively on the prospect identification and conversion process where you can confidently advise, close and warmly transfer the new client to a team member who is responsible for the post-sale and account maintenance, so you are free to continue your quest for new clients
  • Retain existing clients through your involvement in policy renewal reviews and assisting with other servicing as needed
  • The mix of time spent and revenue from new business to existing business is expected to be approximately 70/30

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven record of successful sales experience
LOCATION:

The candidate will be based in the Lake Elmo, MN office, with the potential for a combination of onsite and remote after a proven track record of success.

The pay rate for the first year is a base salary of $2,000 per month plus 50% of new business commissions earned by the agency that you have produced. After one year, the base salary is eliminated and pay is based on new and renewal commissions.
