Job Overview

This is a temporary remote position available for candidates residing in the EST and CST time zones. You will be responsible for providing outstanding customer support, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction with our products and services. This role offers a long-term contract with the possibility of conversion to a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and process orders efficiently.
  • Resolve customer complaints and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Document customer interactions accurately and track call types.
  • Maintain support service levels and uphold our Customer Service standards.
  • Follow up with customers regarding order status, shipping status, and stock availability.
  • Handle inbound phone calls for up to 90% of your assigned shift.

Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service, hospitality, or call center environment.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain composure in challenging situations.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to navigate information systems and the internet.
  • Must have a quiet, dedicated workspace.

Preferences

  • Higher education degree.
  • Previous experience using SAP.
  • Experience in the optical industry and knowledge of Luxottica's products.
  • Bilingual in French (higher pay applicable).
