Jennie Joiner with Forum Group PNW is partnering with a respected, mission-driven healthcare organization in Southern Oregon to identify their next Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This is a rare opportunity to step into a highly visible executive leadership role within a growing multi-site healthcare organization serving communities across the region. The organization has multiple locations throughout southern Oregon and continues to expand its impact while strengthening financial strategy, operational accountability, and long-term sustainability. This is not a traditional “behind-the-scenes” CFO role. The organization is seeking a strategic business partner and proactive leader who can help shape organizational direction, guide executive decision-making, and build strong systems, teams, and accountability across finance operations.Position OverviewThe CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, partnering closely with the CEO, Board, and operational leaders to provide financial oversight, strategic forecasting, regulatory compliance, and long-term financial planning. The ideal candidate will bring both strong healthcare finance expertise and the leadership presence needed to influence decisions, communicate clearly, and lead through change in a collaborative and mission-focused environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, treasury, compliance, and financial planningPartner with executive leadership and the Board to support strategic growth and organizational sustainabilityOversee financial reporting, audits, internal controls, and regulatory complianceGuide revenue cycle oversight, cash flow management, and reimbursement strategyDevelop executive dashboards, financial models, and forecasting tools to support operational decisionsStrengthen accountability, structure, and partnership across finance, billing, and operationsLead and mentor accounting and finance teams, including direct and indirect reportsOversee grant reporting, federal compliance, procurement policies, and financial governanceDrive process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies across the finance functionWhat They're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field requiredCPA strongly preferred8+ years of progressive finance leadership experienceExperience within healthcare finance required, preferably within an FQHC or nonprofit healthcare environmentPrior executive-level leadership experience such as CFO, VP of Finance, Director of Finance, or healthcare ControllerStrong experience with budgeting, forecasting, reimbursement models, and financial strategyBoard presentation and executive leadership experienceAbility to lead teams with accountability, transparency, and strong communicationStrategic thinker who can anticipate challenges, identify trends, and proactively guide decision-makingTechnologyMIPAdaptivePower BIAdvanced ExcelCompensation & BenefitsSalary range: $146,200 – $190,000 with long-term growth opportunity beyond that rangeStrong benefits packageAnnual market salary reviews and potential merit increasesStable leadership team and collaborative cultureCulture & LeadershipThe organization values leaders who are mission-driven, emotionally intelligent, and comfortable balancing strategy with accountability.
