Overview Senior Engineer responsible for planning, design, and delivery of municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects in Medford, Albany, Newport, or Coos Bay, OR.What You'll Do Lead design for the rehabilitation or replacement of municipal infrastructure, including treatment, pump stations, storage, water distribution, wastewater collection, and stormwater systems.Diagnose infrastructure system operations and develop plans and recommendations for operational improvements.Oversee mechanical systems design (treatment facilities, pump stations, etc.), including electrical and structural components.Manage subcontractors providing ancillary services (geotechnical, environmental, cultural, survey, and other services).Manage project bidding and award, contractor coordination, construction oversight, project financing (including funding agency reimbursement), and project closeout services.Support clients in identifying funding sources and coordinating funding applications.Serve as technical authority and mentor junior engineers.Guide small and underfunded utility providers to modernize aging infrastructure.Manage project delivery to meet client needs and expectations.What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.PE registration in Oregon or ability to obtain an Oregon license within 1 year.10+ years of experience in municipal infrastructure.Proven leadership in infrastructure rehabilitation and utility coordination.Strong understanding of water and wastewater engineering.Strong technical knowledge and practical field experience.Excellent written and verbal communication and client‑facing skills.Previous experience leading and mentoring junior staff.Salary and Benefits Salary Range: $120,000–$150,000.Benefits include:Flexible Work EnvironmentPaid Parental LeaveMedical, Dental, VisionLife and AD&D InsuranceShort‑Term and Long‑Term Disability401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time Off + HolidaysEqual Employment Opportunity Verdantas is an EEO race/color/religion/sex/sexual orientation/gender identity/national origin/disability/vet.#J-18808-Ljbffr
